With this new acquisition, European Camping Group, one of the leaders in the outdoor hospitality sector, continues its expansion strategy in Europe with two campsites in France and one in the Netherlands.
European Camping Group announces the acquisition of three campsites:
- Château de Fonrives, a 5-star campsite with 390 pitches in Rives in the Lot-et-Garonne
- Château la Forêt, a 5-star campsite with 271 pitches in Saint-Julien-des-landes in the Vendée
- Het Genieten campsite, with 346 pitches in Kaatsheuvel in the Netherlands
These three new acquisitions will join the Maravilla Parks network of 36 owned campsites of the European Camping Group. The two French campsites will start operating this summer season 2022, while the Dutch campsite will start operating in 2023.
In addition to its 36 own camp sites, the European Camping Group has more than 300 camp sites across Europe. It operates the Homair brand in France and southern Europe, the Eurocamp brand in the UK and the Roan brand in northern Europe.
These three transactions are fully in line with our development strategy: the group's financial resources have been strengthened with the arrival of our new shareholder PAI Partners at the end of the 2021 season. [...] We plan to accelerate our development and complete between 5 and 10 similar deals in the next 12 months.
