Azora announces the acquisition of two hotels in Brussels as part of the development strategy for its Latroupe platform. The Le Berger and Jardin Secret hotels, as well as two adjoining buildings to be renovated and converted into youth hostels, join Azora's portfolio.
This acquisition adds 99 hotel rooms and 130 hostel beds to Azora's portfolio, bringing Latroupe's platform capacity to 1,600 beds in cities such as Madrid, Bilbao, Brussels, Dublin and Barcelona.
This operation is one of a series of recent acquisitions, including the Jacobs Inns in Dublin and Barcelona, also managed by Latroupe. The platform, already present in Brussels with the Latroupe Grand Place (54 rooms), plans to further expand its portfolio in Europe, notably in France, Italy, the UK and Spain.
« This acquisition represents a significant opportunity to expand our portfolio of urban hotels in an attractive local market where we already have an established presence, with Latroupe’s recent industry recognition in Brussels underscoring the extraordinary commitment to service and excellence that the business demonstrates in its day-to-day operations. » - Concha Osacar, founding partner of Azora
Latroupe, launched in 2021 and based in Madrid, now manages eight assets and continues to expand by targeting key European city centers. Its strategy is to offer a combination of 4-star hotel services and facilities with the entertainment and social environment typical of a high-end youth hostel. With an active pipeline, Latroupe plans to continue its expansion by acquiring single assets and portfolios, as well as signing management and leasing agreements with third-party landlords.
