One must be a bit adventurous to stay at the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. Located at the border of Thailand, 100 kilometres north of Chiang Rai, the Canadian group’s last born may be reached by boat through a bamboo jungle. Upon arrival 15 tents await a clientele that is in search of a new experience but has a certain taste for luxury. These accommodations are not incompatible with the Four Seasons collection – George V, Gresham Palace and others. Although it is rustic, the camp is far from being Spartan. The 15 tents are connected to 54 sq.m suites with all the modern comforts, WiFi included. An in the middle of the jungle, wine is served with white gloves! With this original product, the Canadian group targets individual clientele from luxury and honeymoon Tour Operators first and foremost. Romantic, this camp is an ideal base for discovering the region of the Golden Triangle, at the frontier between Laos and Burma. The hotel offers many attractions – tours on elephant, cruises along the Mekong, which encourage an average stay of 3 nights. With this curiosity, Four Seasons also completes its offer in Thailand after Bangkok and Chiang Mai. And the Four Seasons Tented Camp precedes the opening at the end of 2006 of the fourth hotel bearing the luxury brand in Koh Samui. The group’s clients will thus be able to offer themselves a complete trip to the Kingdom of Siam while remaining faithful to their favourite brand.
