Foncière des Murs wishes to support the development of French hotel group B&B in Germany. "We will support B&B in financing its organic growth in Germany, via the development of a dozen hotel assets, representing about 50 million euro, as of next year", says Dominique Ozanne, CEO of Foncière des Murs and COO of Foncière des Régions, in an interview with Hospitality ON. The operation concerns the principal cities in the country where it makes sense to develop the economic hotel sector, like Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.This is the investment company's second operation in Germany after a deal sealed in 2009 on seven Accor hotels. This agreement shows a desire to leave the French territory and open the scope of activity to Europe: "We are very developed in France and we now intend to duplicate our model abroad, particularly in Germany, where the markets are attractive in many ways with economic indicators in the green and there are attractive finance opportunities", explains Dominique Ozanne.
