Novotel New York Time Square

The English group Millennium & Copthorne Hotels announced the signature of an agreement for the takeover of the walls and business of the Novotel New York Times Square.

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels is about to take over the property and business of the Novotel New York Times Square. The British group signed an agreement for a transaction amounting to 273.6 million dollars. It should be closed in the second quarter of 2014.

Located at the heart of the Big Apple, the Novotel New York Times Square occupies a 34-floor building and has 480 newly-renovated rooms. The property will continue to be managed by Accor.

The acquisition of this property strengthens Millennium & Copthorne Hotels' presence on the American market, where it has four hotels in Manhattan out of a portfolio of 18 properties in North America, including 13 operated under the Millennium Hotels & Resorts brand. Internationally, there are more than 100 hotels in the group's network.
