Bramble Ski, the number one chalet rental company in Switzerland, has been acquired by The Collectionist, making it one of the European leaders in luxury home and chalet rentals.

The Collectionist is continuing its growth strategy based on acquisition. Indeed, after the acquisition of Bonder&Co in 2017, the number one villa rental company in Ibiza, The Collectionist is pursuing its development with acquisitions in new markets and a strengthening of the offer in destinations already operated.
The shared values and vision of the hospitality industry have created an obvious partnership between Bramble Ski and The Collectionist. This acquisition allows The Collectionist to expand its offering in the Alps, where the company already has several properties.

Bramble Ski, founded in 2005, now has over 160 chalets to its name, including full exclusivity in the winter sports resorts of Verbier and Zermatt in Switzerland, St Anton and Lech in Austria and Val d'Isère and Méribel in France.

We are very admiring of Bramble Ski's work and the excellence of the brand in terms of customer experience since its creation 15 years ago. We are very humbled by their efforts to develop our mountain destinations in Switzerland, France and Austria. This purchase reinforces our promise to create the best luxury home rental solution in every destination around the world," said Max Aniort, President and co-founder of The Collectionist.

We have seen a consolidation in the luxury property rental market over the last few years and it was important for us to be part of this by joining a group that shares our vision of the customer experience and our values, which is the case with The Collectionist. Shares Duncan Robertson, co-founder and director of Bramble Ski.

The Collectionist aims to be the world leader in its market

The luxury villa rental segment is experiencing the most dynamic growth in the last 10 years, compared to other segments of the tourism market. After a year of double-digit growth in 2020, The Collectionist hopes to reach a turnover of 100 million euros by the end of 2022, with growth in 2021 already estimated to be twice that of 2020. With a development strategy based on acquisitions over the next 24 months, The Collectionist aims to become a global player in its market. In parallel to this build-up strategy, The Collectionist continues to develop new products for its customers, both owners and tenants.
