The investors Rotem Rosen and Alex Sapir, in a partnership with the owner of Buddha Bar Gerard Guez, bought the Mondrian Soho, in New York, for an estimated 205 million US dollars.

The Mondrian Soho, former property of the Morgans Hotel Group, has been bought by the investors Rotem Rosen and Alex Sapir, in a partnership with Gerard Guez, owner and cofounder of Buddha Bar, a brand operated by George V Eatertainment that already operates boutique hotels in Prague, Budapest and Paris. The amount of the transaction to buy the New York hotel is around 205 million US dollars.

The Mondrian currently has 270 rooms and a nightclub, and it was bought by a financial institution last year. It should remain a luxury boutique hotel, but it may be renamed.
