King George Athens

The Greek company Lampsa SA has purchased the historic King George Hotel in the centre of Athens

Lampsa SA has completed the purchase of the King George Hotel, in the heart of Athens, for 43 million euros. Purchased from Eurobank, Lampsa had previously leased the hotel since 2013 and operated it in conjunction with the neighbouring Grande Bretagne hotel. The King George Hotel consists of 102 luxury rooms/suites and a penthouse suite with private outdoor pool overlooking the Acropolis.

Lampsa hotels, part of the Laskaridis Group, owns the Sheraton on Rhodes island, the Hyatt Regency and the Mercure Excelsior in Belgrade and, with this latest announcement, the Grande Bretagne and the King George.
