Already the owner of the Parisian hotel chain Esprit de France, Compagnie Lebon announced the signature of an acquisition protocol for spa properties and two hotels in Brides Les Bains.
"Compagnie Lebon sees this project as a means for external growth and an opportunity to develop in France and abroad. It would make it possible to add health and wellness to its hospitality division currently represented by Esprit de France hotels (8 hotels in Paris including seven 4-star hotels)," explains Christophe Paluel‐Marmont, President Compagnie Lebon. The company thus foresees becoming a thermal and spa group in France and internationally, thanks in particular to the technical and human savoir-faire of SET Brides in the field. "Moreover, strategically, it offers us two opportunities: an industrial project and a lever for the internationalization of our group. In France Brides‐les‐Bains benefits from unique expertise in the field of weight loss. We plan to export it to other countries. I am imagining some areas of North Africa and the Middle East where weight has become a major public health problem," adds the president.
Controlled by the Paluel-Marmont family, Compagnie Lebon is built around three poles of expertise: hospitality with the Parisian hotel chain Esprit de France (30% of the net assets), real estate with Paluel-Marmont Valorisation (23%), and private equity with Paluel-Marmont Capital (30%).
