Choice Hotels France Confirms Growth

Choice Hotels France has seen business indicators ADR and turnover grow in 2012 for its network of 135 hotels and 8,202 rooms.

Subsidiary of American Choice Hotels International, Choice Hotels France reports a 5% increase in average daily rate to reach € 77 in 2012, ending the year with a €112 million turnover, up 10%.According to the chain, these healthy performances were largely due to its efficient channel reserva-tion system. Individual bookings generated through the central reservation and booking system were up 20% for the year, whilst group and seminar bookings grew 11% and 14%, respectively.The group is now well poised to continue its dynamic approach to development and performances in France. "In 2012 we opened hotels in key cities such as Lyon, Marseille, Narbonne, Orleans and Nice. The coverage of the country should be confirmed in the coming months,” says vice president, Choice Hotels France, Isabelle Rochelandet.“In 2013, we also want our hotels and residences to be essential business partners locally, nationally and internationally. Professional meetings organisation, such as those planned in the province, or participation in major fairs (ITB, Rendez-Vous France, among other) but also, for the first time, Fran-chise Expo Paris (March 24 to 27) are key elements in our strategy, " she added.
