
Three groups have reportedly shown interest in La Quinta hotels for the first-round bids next week.
In August, Blackstone reportedly hired JP Morgan Chase and Morgan Stanley to explore a public offering for La Quinta Inns & Suites. Next week, first-round bidding will open on the 850-hotel brand.Three groups have stood out as potential bidders. They are: Choice Hotels International, Hospitality Properties Trust, and Apollo Global Management. La Quinta is expected to be valued at as much as $4.5 billion.
