The Spanish group presents its results for 2017.
NH Hotel Group follows the same dynamic as the other big hotel groups by unveiling overall positive results.
The company reveals a revenue of 1.571,1 million euros, a 6,5% increase from last year (1.474,6 million euros), an EBITDA of 233,1 million euros (+28,9%) and a net income of 35,5 million euros, traducing a rise of 15,4%.
The RevPAR increased by +8,5% reaching 67,4€ brought about by a rise of +4,9% in Average Daily Rate (95,2€) and of +3,4% in Occupancy Rate (70,8%).
For Ramón Aragonés, CEO, NH Hotel Group, “in 2017 all the objectives of profitability and reduction of indebtedness with which we had committed ourselves have been exceeded”. These figures result from an efficient operational management together with the efforts to increase financial solvency and create greater value for all shareholders.
2017 was otherwise characterized by the refusal of Barceló Hotel Group’s offer judged “inadequate” and "not reflecting the true value of NH".
