After three months of closure for renovation, the Mirazur restaurant reopened its doors on 6 April and offers its customers an immersive experience of reconnection with nature through cuisine that follows the astral calendar.
Situated a stone's throw from the Italian border, at the foot of the mountains overlooking the Mediterranean and the town of Menton, Mirazur is set on three levels in an idyllic setting surrounded by lush vegetation.
Designed by three-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, the venue features two new spaces: a glassed-in, transparent kitchen that presents an unprecedented culinary spectacle to guests and another space adjacent to the restaurant, "La Puerta", offering a more intimate experience.
Within the central kitchen is a discreet space, an immersive table called "La Mesa", which offers a 180° view of the Mediterranean and the kitchen like a play.
The restaurant offers an inventive gastronomic offer in close relation with the sea, the land and the mountains. The cuisine is also inspired by the link between heaven and earth and the influence of the moon and planets on living beings. This gastronomic initiation invites the guest to discover the essence of the life force in nature according to the variations of the astral calendar (biodynamic principle). This leads to the creation of four menus in four universes: roots, leaves, flowers and fruits that vary according to the seasons and transport the guest into a dreamlike plant world.
Furthermore, "La Puerta" is a real kitchen workshop oriented towards inspiration and creation. The aim of this semi-enclosed space is to share recipes and inventions with customers and members of the brigade, revealing the entire creative process. This setting is ideal for the development of new concepts and ideas, with a strong focus on research and development and a strong culinary culture.
More than a restaurant, the Mirazur places nature at the heart of its concerns. It is a real place to live, a way of thinking that aims to give a positive impetus to act and commit to an eco-responsible approach.
The different spaces constitute a unique sensory journey aimed at making the client aware of listening to nature, being in harmony with it and becoming aware that he is part of a whole. It is thanks to this immersion that the customer will have a memorable memory of this culinary experience representing a form of learning through experience.
This destination offers a global F&B&E offer where the beauty of the place, the landscapes and the particularity of its gastronomy arouse in the visitor a constant feeling of wonder.
The Mirazur is now a true gastronomic icon. In 2019, Mauro Colagreco won a third Michelin star for the Mirazur. The following year, he was the first restaurant to achieve Plastic Free certification. In 2021, he was elected in the ranking of the 50 best restaurants in the world, the number one restaurant in the "Best of the best" category.
