Grande Braderie 2024 in Lille: a good deal for hoteliers?

The Grande Braderie de Lille 2024 in France was once again a flagship event, attracting 2.5 million national and international visitors who came to enjoy this great popular and commercial festival. Over 5,000 stallholders set up stalls covering 51 kilometres, making the Braderie the biggest flea market in Europe. What about hoteliers? Were they doing good business too? Among the exhibitors, there were 2,400 residents, 2,000 merchants, and 500 antique dealers or second-hand traders. Visitors enjoyed 500 tons of mussels and 30 tons of fries, while 4 tons of mussel shells were collected for recycling into tiles, highlighting a notable environmental effort...
