
Sofitel Luxury Hotels is launching a program to turn its employees into ambassadors for the brand by offering enhanced training and career advancement opportunities, making a career out of what is, for many, just a job.
The Global Ambassador program will focus on a select group of students from 15 hotel schools around the world, who will participate in a 12-to-18-month program led by Sofitel managers. This management training is intended as a career accelerator, offering special conditions and personal support from a manager acting as the student's mentor. Promoting successful growth from an internship level to a supervisory position, this program is also available for existing staff.After a luxury repositioning effort over several years, Accor’s Sofitel brand is now focusing its efforts on improving its luxury cachet and expanding its international network in targeted cities. The Global Ambassador program is part of Sofitel’s “Be Magnifique” brand strategy. “Be Magnifique” is defined by French elegance, tailored service, collection of addresses, levels of performance and entrepreneurial management.Participants will be trained on the three key Sofitel values: spirit of openness, passion for excellence and the essence of tailored service, teaching employees how to anticipate the customers’ expectations to make each stay a unique, personalized experience.
