Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality

The school is taking a new direction following its takeover by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and hotelleriesuisse.

Since March 1, 2014, Knut G. Rupprecht is now director of the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality (SSTH). His nomination follows the acquisition of the school by the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne (EHL) and hotelleriesuisse.

Knut G. Rupprecht has been teaching at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne since 2006 and participated, together with the Swiss Federation for Adult Learning, in the introduction of the international HR quality standard "Investors in People" for personnel management. He also developed an innovative learning model based on "Blended Learning" methodology in order to obtain his "Master in Human Systems Engineering". In addition to his work in education, Knut G. Rupprecht has held executive positions at several hotel groups (Rotana, InterContinental) and participated in the opening of 14 hotels in the Middle East and Switzerland.
