The British company Hostmaker raised funds a second time to develop its concierge service in Europe and Asia for short-term rental properties.
Hostmaker, a British concierge services company dedicated to short-term rentals founded by Nakul Sharma in 2014, announced it had raised 13 million euros in a second round of funds. This new investment primarily came from Sansiri, an important Thai real estate promoter, and Gaw Capital, a Hong Kong private equity firm that is also an major hotel real estate owner. The historic investors of the start-up DN Capital, Ventech and DSGCP also participated in this new round.
Hostmaker offers a full leasing management service to individuals for seasonal rentals of their apartment, ranging from the creation of advertising to customer followup and housekeeping as well as optimization of advertising and rates. Hostmaker is now present in London, Paris, Rome and Barcelona and hopes to develop in Europe and Asia.
