According to information from Bloomberg, the Internet giant closed a deal with the Californian business Room 77, which specializes in searching for and booking hotels via mobile phones. The start-up should give Google access to its technology while pursuing its activities.

Google is thus showing its will to become another player in online travel distribution. In 2011, the search engine already invested 700 million dollars in the acquisition of ITA Software, which supplies information on flights, and also compares hotel and airline prices. The product is called Google Hotel Finder and Flight Search.
