Expedia and its affiliates are accused of unfair business practices by the French Bureau of Consumer Protection (la DGCCRF).

The accusations include, amonst other acts, blacklisting non-member hotels through false "complete" search results, and falsly hiking hotels' in-house rates in order to make savings appear larger than they really are.The group has been under investigation since last January and the case has been in a French court since 10 May.The group has been under investigation since last January and the case has been in a French court since 10 May.
