Accor develops its online booking site

After having attracted over 200 million visitors over the 2012 year, is continuing its development and plans to launch sites in two new languages in 2013., multi-brand and multi-destination reservations portal of Accor hotels, exceeded 100 million visitors in 2012. The group's reservations tool registered a 25% increase in traffic between 2010 and 2012.

Given these encouraging figures, is continuing its development by launching two new portals in Turkish and in Arabic. The site already exists in 14 languages and 31 geo-local versions.

"It is the best place to book one of the Group’s brands. We guarantee the best price and the last room availability. Clients can also book additional services (champagne, express breakfast, late check-out, …) and other activities on site thanks to the pre-stay email", stated Rémy Merckx, e-commerce Sales Director at Accor.

In 2012, web channels represented 27.8% of room business volume. Digital sales’ growth should continue in the coming years thanks to the creation of high value added services. By 2016, digital sales should reach 50% of room business volume.
