Didier Le Calvez elected best hotel manager worldwide

Didier Le Calvez, general manager of the Bristol Hotel in Paris, has just been elected Best Hotel Manager worldwide by Gallivanter’s Guide.

The emblematic General Manager at the Four Seasons George V since its opening in 1999, this specialist in luxury hospitality became General Manager direction at the Bristol Paris in 2010. His goal with Frank Marrenbach, CEO Oetker Collection, is to make this Parisian hotel one of the ten best hotels worldwide. The owners of the Bristol Paris, the Oetker family, thus invested 170 million euros in a full renovation. In the last five years, the hotel underwent a major internal transformation with the expansion of the Spa by La Prairie, the creation of the 114 Faubourg and the opening of the Bar du Bristol. Today its gastronomy is recognized worldwide thanks to the Chef Eric Frechon and the restaurant Epicure, 3 star Michelin.
