Wyndham Alltra, Wyndham's 22nd brand debuts with two beachfront resorts in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, with approximately 9,000 hotels in nearly 95 countries, and Playa Hotels & Resorts, owners, operators and developers of all-inclusive resorts in vacation destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean, today announced the launch of a new all-inclusive resort brand, Wyndham Alltra.
This is Wyndham's 22nd brand and the first brand dedicated entirely to the all-inclusive segment. In conjunction with the brand launch, Wyndham is entering into a strategic alliance with Playa Hotels & Resorts, leveraging Wyndham's ability to drive sales, marketing and distribution in the economy, mid-market and upscale segments through its 89 million Wyndham Rewards members.
The first two resorts to debut under the Wyndham Alltra brand are the 458-room Wyndham Alltra Cancun de Playa, with 10 upscale restaurants, bars, lounges and pools, and the 287-room Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen, located in the heart of Playa Del Carmen and offering gourmet dining within walking distance of Fifth Avenue with its upscale bars, restaurants and stores. Currently undergoing renovations, both resorts remain open and are expected to complete their work and become Wyndham Alltra resorts in time for the holiday season in December 2021. These will be the first of many resorts developed under the strategic alliance between Wyndham and Playa in the upper mid-range all-inclusive resort sector in the Caribbean and Mexico, where Playa currently operates.
