W Dubai opens its doors

The lifestyle brand W Hotels, operated by the group Marriott International is opening in Dubai. This property is in the new district developed by the group Al Habtoor. It is the first hotel operated under this brand in the United Arab Emirates.

The W Dubai is a property within the Al Habtoor City Project- an urban destination near the Dubai international financial center (DIFC). This destination offers three upscale properties and three residential towers. It also includes a series of boutiques, bars and restaurants in the center of Dubai. The W Dubai has 33 floors with 356 rooms and suites, six meeting rooms, three restaurants, a swimming pool and a fitness center. It is operated by the group Marriott International and its walls are owned by the group Al Habtoor.

This new district also includes two other properties operated by the hotel group: The St. Regis Dubai which opened last November and the Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City. In the United Arab Emirates the brand has two addresses under development: W Dubai The Palm and Abu Dhabi. Today, the portfolio of the brand W Hotels has 51 in operation worldwide, with close to 30 under development.
