Projet Vib de Miami

The hotel group announced the signature of contracts to develop five new properties under its new brand Vib in the United States. These should open by the end of 2016.

Launched in October 2014 by Best Western, the Vib concept is spreading out over the United States. The hotel group announced the signature of contracts to develop five new hotels by the end of 2016, which are joining the eight that are already underway.

After Chicago, Miami and Seoul, the new brand will open in the cities of Los Angeles, with a 200-room hotel, New York, with the 81-rooms Staten Island Vib, Little Rock (112 rooms) and Springfield (90 rooms). A second address in Miami is slated to open with 150 rooms. Moreover, Best Western is continuing its development efforts and is negotiating contracts to establish its concept in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, New Orleans, Scottsdale and San Diego.

An abbreviation of "vibrant", Vib was imagined for urban properties with vast lobbies, takeaway dining, a cozy bar, a Zen Zone for relaxation, a fitness center, and modern working spaces in the rooms.

As of January 1, 2015, Best Western was the 8th international hotel group in terms of number of rooms with 302,144 units in 3,900 properties according to MKG Hospitality, consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. (Read our report).
