The Choice, IHG and Wyndham groups all have strong ambitions in the United States.
Choice Hotels will develop multiple properties in Texas
Choice Hotels International has entered into agreements to develop 8 midscale hotels with Magnolia Hospitality Group and Champion Hotels franchisees. Texas is a privileged region for the group, which announced today that it wants to operate 5 new hotels, including 3 in Dallas.
The projects are as follows:
- Comfort Inn – Bloomington
- Comfort Inn – Dallas
- Comfort Inn – Ft. Worth
- Comfort Inn – Griswold
- Comfort Inn – Schaumburg
- Mainstay Suites – Humble
- Mainstay Suites – Dallas
- Sleep Inn – Dallas
IHG extends its EVEN Hotels brand
3 new EVEN Hotels are planned in the United States in partnership with Graham Hotel Systems, Mayfair Street Partners and Mopac Hotel Development LP.

The following three hotels are expected to open in 2020:
- EVEN Hotel - Ann Arbor (111 rooms)
- EVEN Hotel – Charlotte (181 rooms)
- EVEN Hotel – Austin (123 rooms)
Wyndham in the Midwest and Northeast
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with the State Bank of Texas to develop 10 hotels in the Midwest and Northeast of the country.
Projects include the first Wingate by Wyndham property in Nashville, Tenessee, which will offer 123 rooms.
