
Accor group’s luxury brand has announced the opening of the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, in Singapore, and Sofitel Tirana Palace, in Albania, for the year 2015.
"These two important new development announcements are indicative of Sofitel’s continuing momentum in its 50th anniversary year,” said Rick Harvey Lam, Senior Vice President Global Marketing Luxury & Upscale Brands ACCOR. “Both Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa and Sofitel Tirana Palace will be distinct symbols of Sofitel’s French elegance in luxury hospitality in two different global regions.”
Le Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa will be developed through a management contract, signed with the Royal Group, after renovation works that lasted between 12 and 18 months. The result will be 215 suites and villas and will reinforce the brand’s supply in the Asia Pacific region, where it currently has 40 properties.
The Sofitel Tirana Palace in the capital of Albania, will also be operated under a management contract. Located seven kilometers from the city center, it will have 180 rooms, two restaurants, a casino, a spa and a swimming pool
