Thomas Cook confirmed the opening of 20 new hotels, including six in Spain (four in Mallorca, one in Ibiza and one in Fuerteventura) by the end of 2019.

Among the hotels planned in Spain,  the flagship of the brand Casa Cook stands out with Casa Cook Ibiza (189 rooms), located in Cala Grasió.

In Mallorca, the four openings include:

  • Cook's Club Palma Beach (318 rooms),
  • Sentido Mar Blau, Sentido Hotel Diamant (225 rooms),
  • Sentido Aparthotel Diamant (173 rooms),
  • SunConnect Fuerteventura Princess (407 rooms)

Enric Noguer, Director of Thomas Cook Hotels & Resorts, said: "The expansion of our hotel brand portfolio is fundamental to the success of our overall business. The operation and supervision of high quality properties allows our clients to identify service quality and trust, which they consider to be an important element of our group strategy."

Thomas Cook said there will be new openings in the coming months, in line with its strong expansion process. However, the tour operator also indicated that it wanted to eliminate nine properties that did not meet quality standards.
