Atocha Madrid

The recently opened Hotel Atocha Madrid becomes the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Europe.

Located near the Atocha train station, in a lively and historic area of Madrid, the hotel offers art and history lovers quick access to the city's main museums: the Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofía Art Centre National Museum.

The Atocha Hotel Madrid has 46 rooms as well as a 19 sq.m. meeting room that can accommodate up to 15 people. The hotel's interior design is inspired by the historical past of the site and, as an ode to this, each guest receives a personalised handmade gift containing an esparto plant on arrival. In this way, the experience anchors the authenticity that guests seek in an independent hotel.

Indeed, Tapestry Collection by Hilton brings together upscale independent hotels, who benefit in exchange from the visibility and loyalty program of Hilton Group.

The property is part of a global portfolio of nearly 60 Tapestry Collection by Hilton properties. In addition, in the coming months the brand will continue its expansion in Europe with the opening of Hotel Camille Paris Gare de Lyon, Le Belgrand Hotel Paris Champs Elysées, Sé Catedral Hotel Porto and The Samuel Ryder Hotel St Albans.

The opening of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton this summer marks the launch of our new brand in Europe. With new properties scheduled to open in Spain, France, Portugal and the UK, guests will be able to enjoy unique experiences in some of Europe's most iconic cities. These hotels are part of a major plan to open 40 new Hilton brands in Europe by the end of the year. As international travel slowly picks up, we look forward to reconnecting with our travelers.

Simon Vincent, Executive Vice President and President, EMEA, Hilton

The arrival of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand in Europe is an important step that reinforces our commitment to international growth. With hotels with unique style and personality, Tapestry Collection is very popular with travelers seeking an authentic experience that reflects the region's heritage and culture. We look forward to welcoming guests to our new properties in Europe this summer.
