The hotel Swiss International Lenana Nairobi should open its doors next month in the center of Kenya's capital. It is the second hotel belonging to the Swiss chain in the country.

Swiss International is strengthening its growth on the African continent with the announcement of the forthcoming opening of the Swiss International Lenana Nairobi, its second property in Kenya (after the Swiss International Resort Mount Kenya: 193 apartments and 32 villas). This operation is a result of the signature of a  management contract with China Zhong Tian Investment Limited. The hotel will open in the center of the capital, on Ralph Bunche Road, near the business district. It is an 11-floor new construction that will have 133 rooms, a restaurant, two bars, a fitness room and a swimming pool.

Swiss International was created in 1982; it has 27 properties that are operational or being developed in Italy, Turkey, China, Syria, Saudi Arabia , Bahrain, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Its pipeline includes a property under development in Bangladesh, Guinea-Bissau, and Nigeria as well as four addresses in India and two in Saudi Arabia. The chain is aiming to to grow its portfolio to 150 hotels by 2020, by strengthening its expansion particularly in Asia, Africa and Europe.
