In keeping with Barack Obama's trip to Cuba, the American hotel group announced it has signed contracts to develop three hotels at the destination.
The Hotel Inglaterra (83 rooms) in Havana will thus join The Luxury Collection and the Hotel Quinta Avenida (186 rooms) will become a Four Points by Sheraton after major renovations. Their conversion should take place some time in 2016. The hotel group also signed a Letter of Intent to convert the famous Hotel Santa Isabel (27 rooms, including 11 suites), which will join the group's Luxury Collection.
