Sofitel's first hotel in Spain will open in spring 2022, following the renovation of the Pullman Barcelona Skipper.

Matthias Bernard, currently general manager of the Pullman Barcelona Skipper, is leading the rebranding and future oversight of operations according to Sofitel standards. 

The Sofitel Barcelona Skipper will have 225 rooms, three bars and two restaurants; a swimming pool for adults, terraces and 10 meeting rooms.

We are happy to open ourselves to new ideas and talents. With Sofitel Barcelona Skipper we will create a trip towards elegance in a natural way, an irreverent attitude that captures the essence of both Barcelona and France. Both destinations share this willingness to take risks, transform and reinvent the classic, aspects that leisure and business guests will see reflected in the new hotel.
