The collection of independent boutique hotels Small Luxury Hotels of the World adds five more addresses to its expanding network, four of which are located in Europe.

The independent boutique hotels network Small Luxury Hotels of the World has just announced its newest members: they are five to join in August, located in Greece, Croatia, Iceland, Estonia and Taiwan.

Sandhotel, Rejkjavik: located in Iceland's capital, this property is a mix of art déco style and refined, modern design. It offers its guests 52 rooms on five floors, as well as with a restaurant and a traditional bakery on-site.

Grand Forest Metsovo: located in Northern Greece, this 'suite-only' hotel offers 62 suites, as well as two restaurants and an outdoor pool. What's more, customers will have access to a spa, whose beauty treatments are inspired by local plants.

D-Resort Šibenik: in Croatia's Dalmatia region, this property features 72 rooms and suites. Guests will also find a swimming pool, several bars and restaurants, and a kid's club.

Hotel Saint Petersbourg, Tallinn: located in one of the oldest buildings of the Estonian capital city, in the old town, the 27-room hotel focuses on Russian dishes in its restaurant, and provides its guests with spa services.

Union House Lukang: on the island of Taiwan, a few miles off China's west shore, the only non-European hotel within the selection opened last April. It features 58 rooms and a restaurant located in an 8-storey complex. A zen garden is also available on the first floor.

Extending its hotel collection to these five new members, Small Luxury Hotels of the World consolidates a growing network of more than 520 properties located in over 80 countries.
