The Thai hotel group signs a property in the Austrian Tyrol region: Six Senses Kitzbühel is to open in 2020.

The Thai group Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has just signed a new address: a future property is to open in Kitzbühel, in the Austrian Alps, by 2020.

Nearby the Hohe Tauern National Park, which spreads over about 2,000 square kilometers, the hotel will feature 80 rooms, 50 residences, as well as a village of chalets where each accommodation will be put up for sale. In addition, the property will include three dining outlets as well as an area dedicated to meetings & events and a spa, trademark of the group focused on wellness.

Following the announcement of Six Senses' first property in Ibiza, and the upcoming opening of a Swiss resort, year 2020 should be very promising for the Thai group since it plans on opening several of its hotels for the first time then. As of January 1, 2017, Six Senses operates 11 properties and 1,021 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
