The lifestyle brand of InterContinental Hotel Group opened a new property in Spain in the city of Madrid: the Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Via.
Hotel Indigo pursues growth on the European continent. After Barcelona, IHG's lifestyle brand has set up business in the Spanish capital with the Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Via. This is the second property by the brand in the country after the Hotel Indigo Barcelona that opened in 2012.
Located in the heart of the city, the Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Via has 85 rooms. It also offers dining at the Gastrobar & Restaurant.
"Hotel Indigo Madrid - Gran Via will be the second Hotel Indigo to open in Spain; with a further 15 in the pipeline in Europe, the Hotel Indigo brand is experiencing considerable growth," declared Tom Rowntree of IHG.
According to data from MKG Hospitality, on January 1, 2014, the Hotel Indigo Indigo network in Europe was composed of 12 hotels for 1,152 rooms.
