The hotel group announced the opening of its first Brazilian address, the Rosewood Sao Paulo, scheduled to open in 2018.
Already present in Mexico with four properties (Rosewood San Miguel de Allende in the capital, Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Las Cabos, and Rosewood Puebla), Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is expanding into Brazil. The hotel group signed a management contract with Groupe Allard to develop Rosewood Sao Paulo. the hotel is slated to open in 2018.
The property will open in an historic building in the city, that was once a maternity ward. It will have 151 rooms and 114 suites, as well as two restaurants, two swimming pools, a spa and meeting rooms. It will also have a recording studio and a screening room available to clients.
The group is being launched in Latin America just a few months after it opened the Rosewood Beijing , symbolizing its foray onto the Chinese market. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts thus pursues its international development strategy with 13 new hotels that are under development, including the Crillon Paris.
