Room Mate Hotel Amsterdam

The Spanish hotel group announced the addition of 11 new hotels to its network, which currently consists of 18 properties, over the next few years.

After opening its first hotel out of Spain in Amsterdam in 2013, Room Mate continues to focus on international growth and has announced the development of 11 new properties in the coming years. The Spanish hotel group will both open properties in new destinations and strengthen its presence in cities where it is already settled. Its network will grow to 29 properties for 2,100 rooms, up from 18 hotels today and 1,190 rooms.

Room Mate will operate three properties in Istanbul, for a total of 164 rooms, the first of which will open its doors in the year 2014 with 61 rooms. The hotel group will also be present in the city of Rotterdam with a 230-room property, and settle in Rome, Milan and Bogota. In New York it will open a second hotel, while in its native market, Spain, it will open a third property in Barcelona with 81 rooms, and others in the cities of Bilbao, San Sebastian and Seville.
