Ritz-Carlton develops a resort of villas in China

The brand of the group Marriott International is developing a resort consisting exclusively of villas near the valley of Jiuzhaigou, north of Sichuan province, in China - a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The development of this resort consisting of 87 villas is happening in collaboration with the investment firm Sichuan Jiuzhai Luneng. The resort is located near the nature reserve in the Jiuzhaigo Valley, in the North of Sichuan Province. This site been listed by UNESCO since 1992 for its panoramic and historic interest. The property will also have offer three restaurants,  a spa and a club for children.

Ritz-Carlton operates 87 hotels worldwide of which 13 are in Chine. 30 hotels and residences are in its pipeline for international development. As of January 1, 2016, the new conglomerate of Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts is the leading hotel operator worldwide, with 5,640 hotels for a total of 1,108,852 rooms worldwide, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
