Following the opening of the six new hotels added to the portfolio in Africa, bringing the total number of hotels in 32 African markets to nearly 100, Radisson Hotel Group signs 15 new hotels in the EMEA region during the second quarter of 2020. These new signatures reaffirm the Group's commitment to the ambitious five-year development plan.
The hotels that will join the Radisson Group are as follows:
Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d'Ampezzo, A Radisson Collection Hotel in Italy. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2020. This high-end hotel will have 126 rooms, including 19 junior suites and 8 suites. Leisure and dining facilities will include a well-known restaurant, lobby and cigar bar, as well as a fitness area and spa. The hotel has 600 square metres of meeting rooms and event rooms, which will become the largest meeting space in Cortina.
Radisson Residences Savoia Palace Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy, scheduled to open in 2020, will comprise 45 apartments ranging in size from 31 square meters to 50 square meters.
Radisson RED Innsbruck in Austria, with an opening announced for 2023, will have a total of 161 rooms, including family rooms and junior suites. This interactive lifestyle hotel will offer business travellers a charming bar and restaurant concept, including an outdoor terrace, a fitness room and two meeting and event venues. The spectacular Sky Bar on the 8th floor will also offer stunning views of Innsbruck city centre. The group already operates 10 Radisson RED properties across the globe.
Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini, Greece will open its doors in 2021. The Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini features a unique and luxurious architectural style and comprises 102 spacious rooms, suites or superior villas. The hotel will also offer a wellness center with a fully equipped gym and a 134 square meter meeting room.
Radisson Blu Grand Hotel & Spa, Malo-les-Bains in France is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2021. This hotel complements the 16 group properties already operating in France and will be the 13th of the Radisson Blu brand to open in the country.
Radisson Hotel & Congress Center Saransk in Russia with 137 rooms will open in 2020. The hotel has a restaurant open all day, an outdoor terrace, a lobby bar and a fully equipped fitness centre with swimming pool and sauna. The hotel has the largest conference and event centre in the Republic of Mordovia, with over 700 square metres of meeting and event space.
Radisson Hotel Ulyanovsk in Russia located in the historic city centre will also open its doors this year. The hotel offers 176 rooms and suites, an all-day restaurant, a lobby bar, an outdoor terrace and various meeting rooms.
Radisson Hotel Pechersk Park Kiev in Ukraine is the first hotel of the new brand to open in the Ukrainian capital. The hotel is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2022. In addition to the 167 high-end rooms and suites, guests can also enjoy the lively ground floor, offering a mixed space that includes the reception and bar. The establishment includes meeting and event rooms, outdoor terraces, spas and a fitness centre with Turkish bath.
Radisson Hotel Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, scheduled to open in 2021, will have 193 keys. The hotel will include a speciality restaurant open all day, a bar and an executive lounge. To enhance the facilities, the hotel will offer well-equipped conference and banqueting rooms, ideal for local and international companies and leisure organizations.
