The “bleisure” brand of the group Accor plans to fill out its portfolio in the region with 47 new addresses by 2018, including 38 in China.

While the brand's 15th hotel in China has just opened its doors under the name Pullman Shanghai South, Pullman announces its goals for growth on the whole of the Asian continent in recent years. Accor's "bleisure" brand plans to open 47 new properties in the region by the year 2018, including 38 in China, three in India and two in Indonesia.

"Growth in Asia is a priority for Pullman. We plan to open 47 new properties in the next 4 years, in order to reach more than 90 hotels in the region, meaning more than half of the brand's network. Our growth is built around classic tourist destinations and strategic economic hubs. It illustrates the brand's work hard-play hard ethic. We will soon discover the Pullman New Delhi International Airport in India and the Pullman Bandung City Centre in Indonesia," declared Michael Issenberg, Chairman and COO Asia - Pacific.

Today, Asia Pacific represents more than half of Pullman's entire international portfolio with 45 hotels and resorts, including 32 in Asia. China alone has 15 Pullman properties, more than any other single country in terms of units. The brand has accelerated its development in the region over the last two years by opening 15 new addresses across the continent
