Pullman grows its presence in China

PULLMAN YICHANG

The AccorHotels brand will develop the brand's first hotel in the province of Hubei, the Pullman Yichang. It is scheduled to open in 2018.

AccorHotels signed an agreement with Yichang Xin Yuan Real Estate to develop the Pullman Yichang hotel. Slated to open in 2018, the property will be the first brand in the province of Hubei, in China.

Located in the region's second largest city after Wuhan, Yichang, the new hotel will be on the 16th floor of a 35-floor building. It will have 250 rooms, several F&B options, spaces to organize meetings and conventions, as well as a fitness center. The hotel will be a 10-minute drive from the old town, 15 minutes from the train station and 25 from the Sanxia.

Pullman will further strengthen its presence in China where the brand currently has 22 hotels. As of January 1, 2015, AccorHotels was the sixth hotel group worldwide in terms of number of rooms according to the ranking realized each year by MKG Hospitality. At that time it had a network of 3,717 hotels and 482,296 rooms worldwide. (read our article)
