Pentahotels

In 2016, Pentahotels will open its second hotel in Hong Kong; the fourth in the Chinese market.

Pentahotels continues its regional growth with the opening of a second Hong Kong hotel. Luks Industrial Company Ltd., the Hong Kong-based owners of the property, has appointed Pentahotels to manage the 298-room Pentahotel Hong Kong, Tuen Mun. Following the successful 2013 launch of Pentahotel Hong Kong Kowloon, Pentahotel Tuen Mun is scheduled to open in autumn 2016. This latest addition to the brand's portfolio will be the fourth in the region, joining Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai units.

The former industrial high-rise building will be completely renovated. Pentahotel Tuen Mun will replace the old-fashioned lobby and reception found in most hotels with a hip bar. The 24/7 pentalounge will transform from a laidback lounge during the day to an ultra-stylish bar at night. Featuring a pool table and WLAN, the lounge will invite visitors and locals to check in, chill out and live it up.

On January 1, 2015, Pentahotels was the 176th group worldwide in terms of number of rooms with 4,766 units at 25 properties according to MKG Hospitality, consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. (Read our report).
