Launched in November 2010 by Christian Mure and Philippe Colleu, the Onomo concept is based on accessible, durable, and modern hotel business in principal destinations. After Onomo Dakar Airport and Onomo Libreville in January 2012, the Onomo Abidjan Airport hotel will welcome its first guests.
Construction, led by Ivorian architects Guillaume Koffi and Issa Diabaté, required an investment of more than € 7 million and resulted in the creation of 50 jobs. The hotel has 118 rooms, including 2 suites and 2 rooms for disabled guests.
Onomo International's goal is the creation of a network of hundreds of institutions across Africa in partnership or contract management. Both hotels are under construction in Lomé (Togo) and Bamako (Mali), and a dozen other projects are under study in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Guinea, Mauritania and Burkina Faso.

"We have a proven track record and a strong network in Africa, where we find a strong interest on the part of our partners, landowners, governments and investors. Onomo International co-development site in the heart of the project and promotes expertise, know-how and local jobs "says Philippe Colleu.
"We obtained the support of investors from both continents together with an exceptional level of expertise. Despite the crisis, which Africa is resisting, we are comforted in the relevance of our concept that focuses on basic needs at a fair price: that is what the market expects " adds Christian Mure.
