Eden Rock St-Barth

The German group and the Matthews family, which owns Eden Rock in Saint Barth, signed a partnership that transfers the hotel’s management and commercialization to the group Oetker Collection.

After losing the management of the Isle de France, a few months ago following its takeover by the group LVMH, the Oetker Collection was keen on returning to the Caribbean and more specifically to Saint Barth, the favorite island of its regular clients.

Frank Marrenbach's group has just signed a partnership with the Matthews family, which has owned a prestigious property on the island for 70 years, the Eden Rock - St-Barth, for which the Oetker Collection, took control over the management with another company Propco, which specializes in the design and building of Luxury villas.

The 34-room hotel, built on a promontory, is part of the Relais & Châteaux chain. It joins a collection that includes the Bristol Paris, and the recent openings of the Apogée Courchevel and the Palais Namaskar in Marrakech. It will also be in the company of the Cap Eden Roc in Antibes, and will complete its exotic openings with the Fregate Island Private in the Seychelles.
