Novotel, Accor's mid-range brand, announces that it has partnered with four international design teams to bring to the world its new vision of 21st century modern style.
Following an intense global design competition, Novotel has selected four winning concepts that will come to life in Novotel properties around the world. With these concepts, Novotel will offer flexibility to its owner and franchise partners, allowing each to choose and customize the ideal style that best suits the unique character of the destination.
The brand's new design partners have a strong vision of changing societal behaviors and recent consumer trends in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.
Our goal is to achieve a signature hotel experience, without standardization, from check-in to check-out - a major evolution for the brand and a leading approach in the mid-market segment.
Nadège Keryhuel, Vice President of the Novotel brand
The design teams and their winning proposals are as follows:
- RF Studio: adaptable, sustainable, easy to renovate, this concept offers a sense of intimacy and an unexpected atmosphere; guests are encouraged to discover a new way of living at the hotel and feel like they are in the heart of a village.
- Metro: Inspired by Novotel's motto "Time is on your side," this modern design concept features natural tones and raw materials, inviting guests to enjoy a multifunctional and flexible space that evolves throughout the day.
- Sundukovy Sisters: This concept blends business with pleasure and mixes wellness in unique "co-living" spaces that offer a lively and social environment, current trends and timeless comfort.
- Hypothesis: By focusing on reducing not only physical waste, but also wasted space and time, this design concept allows guests to achieve the balance they seek during their stay.
We pushed the boundaries to come up with modern and intuitive design ideas, where the way the space, decor and every object or element is organized serves a purpose. All of the selected designs have brilliantly met this demand, allowing us to reinterpret the way we design Novotel hotels around the world.
Damien Perrot, Global Senior Vice President of Design at Accor
Over the next few years, guests can expect to see these new designs appear in a number of Novotel hotels around the world.
