
The hotel group announced the opening of the Best Western Plus Maple Leaf, located near the international airport Hazrat Shahjalal in Dhaka.

In light of the interest this market represents for its growth, the group plans to open two additional properties in Bangladesh in the years to come, including one in Cox's Bazar.
On January 1, 2014, Best Western International was the eighth hotel group worldwide in terms of number of rooms, according to the ranking realized each year by MKG Hospitality, hospitality consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis.
