Meliá offers itself three new destinations

Melia Hotels International just announced the signature for three new htoels in Kazakhstan, the Maldives and Tanzania.

Located in three distinct market, the new Meliá Hotels International properties also have very different profiles. The first is the sustainable Meliá Serengeti Lodge, which will debut in June 2017 in Tanzania. This 50-room, eco-friendly htoel, located inside the famous natural park, will enrich the Spanish group's porrtfolio in the east of Africa, which is currently among the destinations that are popular with tourists and hotel developers alike.

The Gran Meliá Maldives (100 rooms in 95 private villas) will open its doors in October 2017; while the hotel Meliá Almaty (250 rooms) will mark the Spanish group's foray into the Kazakh market, expected in 2018.

The Meliá portfolio thus continues to develop internationally, while the group is present in forty or so countries. As of January 1, 2015, Meliá Hotels International was the 21st hotel operator worldwide in terms fo number of rooms with 68,374 units in 220 properties, according to figures from MKG Consulting.
