Marriott International signs agreement to launch W Costa Navarino.
Marriott International announced that it has signed an agreement with TEMES S.A., a leading developer and operator of upscale tourism and real estate, to launch the W Hotels Worldwide brand in Greece with the opening of W Costa Navarino. As such, W Costa Navarino, scheduled to open in the summer of 2022, is expected to be the latest addition to W Escapes portfolio in Europe, following Spain, Switzerland, and Portugal.
The new W Escape will be located at Navarino Waterfront, Costa Navarino's new integrated resort. This 13-hectare beachfront destination is in Messinia, in the southwestern Peloponnese. Designed by renowned Greek architects Tombazis and Associates Architects. The distinctive interiors will be led by London-based MKV Design. The Escape is expected to have 246 rooms, suites, and villas, many with private pools, located in the bay of Navarino and offering views of the Ionian Sea.

W Costa Navarino will feature five dining venues, including a beach club overlooking a long sandy shoreline, designed by Athens-based K-Studio. The "Culinary Square" is the hotel's deli food market. Other planned amenities include a sunset bar and the W Living Room, the new Navarino Agora, an open market with stores, street food, and an outdoor cinema.
