Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa

With the opening of the Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa, its second property in the country, Marriott Group now owns one of Poland's biggest hotels with spa.

With this resort Marriott Hotels adds a second property to its portfolio in Poland. The Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa will host 145 rooms, 35 treatment rooms and 4 pools, including an infinity pool. These facilities make it one of Poland's biggest hotels with spa. The hotel also hosts two restaurants, numerous meeting rooms and a lounge. 

"We are very glad to add the Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa to our growing Europe portfolio," declared John License, Vice President Premium & Select Brands, Europe, Marriott International. With this signing, the group confirms Eastern Europe's growing importance in hotel development, and the specific dynamic of Poland. 

As of January 1, 2017, Marriott International was the leading hotel and residence group worldwide, with 5,997 properties totaling 1,169,902 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON
