
With the opening of the Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa, its second property in the country, Marriott Group now owns one of Poland's biggest hotels with spa.

With this signing, the group confirms Eastern Europe's growing importance in hotel development, and the specific dynamic of Poland.
As of January 1, 2017, Marriott International was the leading hotel and residence group worldwide, with 5,997 properties totaling 1,169,902 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
