The American group has announced its ambitions to deploy its 8 upscale brands in 2019.
While Marriott dominates the 2018 ranking of global hotel groups with its 1.2 million rooms, the American intends to maintain this position through the development of the luxury segment. For 2019, the group has announced plans to open 30 new properties.

Why is experience the new luxury?
When ranking luxury brands, Hospitality ON revealed the pipeline for each one. JW Marriott has the largest with nearly 16,000 rooms, followed by W with more than 7,700 rooms, with The Luxury Collection at 4,500 rooms behind it.
