The British group of independent hotels announced that it has signed six franchise contracts with hotels previously operated by the Wyndham group in the United States.

Magnuson Hotels is reinforcing its presence in the United States by taking over management of six hotels formerly operated by the Wyndham group. The hotels in question were renamed and are now operated under Magnuson Hotel & Conference Center Tyler in Texas, Magnuson Hotel South Hill in Virginia, Magnuson Hotel Cool Springs in Tennessee, Magnuson Sugarbush Inn Townsend in Georgia, Magnuson Hotel Lansing in Michigan, and Magnuson Hotel Baton Rouge in Louisiana.

Earlier in April, the British group announced the conversion, via the signing of franchise contracts, of six Choice establishments: the Magnuson Hotel Denham Springs in Louisiana, the Magnuson Hotel Downtown North Nashville in Tennessee, the Magnuson Hotel & Suites Baytown in Texas, the Magnuson Hotel Port Allen in Louisiana, the Magnuson Hotel Elberton in Georgia, the Magnuson Hotel Idabel in Oklahoma, and the M-Star Hotel Hayti in Missouri.

The global portfolio of Magnuson Hotels is at 2 000 hotels today, principally located in the United Kingdom and North America.
